This faerie queen was the result of a recent trip to Sedona, a truly magickal power spot in America. You can feel the energy flow from the earth there, and it affects you powerfully. I sketched every night after our daily hikes into the woods filled with faeries and red rocks imbued with spirit.

The Sedona Fay sits upon her citrine throne, gazing into the distance. Behind her are spirit rocks and magical manzanita. She is flanked by her familiars: Owl - who can turn his head completely around and see into the night. He is never fooled by appearances and holds much wisdom. Lizard - who lives in the dreamtime, creating the universe with his thoughts. And Raven - psychic and playful, bringing messages from other dimensions.
